On August 27th 2016, I am participating in the Ripcords and Rifles #iCAN event in order to raise money and awareness for our Service Members and Veterans. My donations will primarily be going to a Service Member family with a mother that is currently deployed and father that is a combat veteran. Their 6 year old daughter, Lilly, is autistic and is currently in need of specialized care due to her mother's deployment, which has triggered regression. Their 3 year old son, Lukas, was born with Phenylketonuria and requires specialized food and an assortment of treatments. The father of this amazing family, who is a combat veteran, quit his job to stay home with the children, which has decreased the family income significantly. This cause is near and dear to my heart as I have deployed and know what it is like to leave a small child at home. The stresses associated with missing your loved ones can be overwhelming not to mention, having beautiful children with specialized needs. Please help me raise my goal! This will be my first jump! Another portion of my donations will go to the Veterans reaching out to Combat Boots and High Heels for emergency assistance. Fundraising is the way we can help keep them from being homeless, provide food and clothing, and send new struggling parents baby boxes. We are a 501(c)(3) so donations are tax deductible.
