Mission: “To empower and support positive choices for all and to educate and take action in the community for the prevention of oppression and violence.”

Philosophy:  The Women’s Center provides cost-free, confidential, 24-hour, easily accessible services to all those in need.  We provide counseling, education, outreach, referrals and resources.  With over 40 years of experience, The Women’s Center is the pre-eminent organization in the region providing services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child trauma.

Purpose:  The Women’s Center provides linguistically competent shelter and safe home services, medical and legal advocacy, group and individual counseling, child and adolescent trauma services, prevention education and crisis intervention for domestic violence and sexual assault victims and survivors.  We support diversity and practice inclusion.  We collaborate with international, national, state, regional and local organizations.
