ORGANIZER: Hope's Door, Inc.
EVENT DATE: Sep 02, 2014
Given all we see in the press and public outcry via social media with regard to the Ray Rice situation and the NFL, it is clear more needs to be done to stand up against domestic violence.
One and four women in the U.S. is a victim of domestic violence, and, it is not just women that are victims. We must do more to educate people on the warning signs; work to speak out against abuse when we see it; and work to educate our children about the right way to treat people. I'm hoping you'll join Hope's Door's team or contribute today.
As one of Hope's Door survivor's said, "Hope's Door has given me the courage and hope I never had before and has helped me become the woman I was meant to be-stong, courageous, and most of all, free".
