BENEFITING: Humane Society for Hamilton County
ORGANIZER: Humane Society for Hamilton County
EVENT DATE: Sep 19, 2015
TurboRoo was born without his front legs and was surrendered to a vet’s office at the age of 4 weeks! A veterinary technician decided to adopt TurboRoo and wanted to get him up and mobile as soon as possible to give him a better chance at life. After making a small “cart” out of toy parts, Turbo’s story caught the eye of a new journalist in Indianapolis.
Turbo's inspirational story soon went viral! He then caught the eye of an Aerospace engineer in San Diego who decided he could design something way better than the toy cart. Turbo became the first pup to have a 3D printed wheelchair or “cart”. Since then
Turbo has inspired fans all over the world with his zest for life. Turbo now is the spokes pup for handicapable pets world wide and has started a company that is designing custom made carts for dogs all over the world!
TurboRoo has now devoted his efforts to helping the Hamilton County Humane Society raise funds for their "survivor" program!
Programs such as these, give pups much like Turbo the second chance at life they so desperately need! Please help Turbo help other animals get their second chance at life!
