Pajama Program is a non-profit organization that was created on the understanding that many children have never experienced a loving and secure home and the comforting memory of a bedtime ritual that many of us grew up with is unknown to them. In volunteering with the organization in NYC, I’ve seen Pajama Program help babies that have been abandoned and neglected at birth to young teenagers who have lived in extremely unsafe and unstable situations. I’m pushing myself physically, mentally and emotionally to train for a 10 mile run with 20 obstacles as a testament to how close this organization is to my heart.
“With love, nighttime is more comforting, daytime is more fulfilling, imaginations are better able to thrive, collaborations feel more genuine and giving is unconditional. Above all, with love, children learn that they are important.”
My goal is raise $1000 to help buy books, pajamas, and other ordinary objects that transform bedtime into a ritual of love, warmth, protection and fun so that in the process of changing their nights, we can start to impact their days and their future. A lot of us doing a little bit can go a long way, so please help me raise money for this amazing organization! No donation is too small!
Thank you and love you all!!
