The USDA estimates that 42 million people, including 13 million children, in the United States were food insecure in 2015. That means 1 in 8 individuals (13.4%), and 1 in 6 children (17.9%), lived in households without consistent access to adequate food. Long Island alone has 170,000 residents who are food insecure. Bread Run Corp is a 501(c)(3) founded by students to help raise funds to fight hunger in local communities.
Our mission is to spread the power of giving through live games and competition!
