Manny the Frenchie and all of his friends are coming together to help Wright-Way Rescue in the efforts to rebuild! In 2013, Wright-Way Rescue was destroyed after a school bus crash into its Adoption Center. Thankfully no one was hurt during the accident; however, the rescue (and all the animals) were temporarily left homeless. Almost a year after the crash, Wright-Way Rescue found a new location and re-opened the doors to the community! The new facility helps thousands of animals and is in need of donations to support their efforts. So many new initiatives and programs are in the works and can only become a reality with you help! Please consider donating to save the dogs and cats who are in need...every little bit counts! Thank you for your consideration and generosity.
Dear Manny & Friends,
This is an exciting time for Wright-Way Rescue. The aftermath of last fall's bus crash that destroyed our former facility in Niles, Illinois was a scary and uncertain time for us. Though no animals or people were hurt in the accident, after years of placing homeless animals in loving homes Wright-Way Rescue found itself homeless. We realized, however, that the accident gave us a renewed perspective on the reality - the uncertainty and fear - that homeless animals face every day.
Our commitment to placing animals in loving homes has never wavered, and as we look to the future we are energized with a transformed awareness of the necessity of our mission. The reopening of our adoption center and the launch of our vet clinic in Morton Grove have given us the unique opportunity to introduce a line-up of new programs designed to serve and educate the community: training & obedience classes, private lessons, a retail store, family service nights, children’s birthday parties, low cost vaccine clinics, the innovative ConnectUS program, and a full-service veterinary clinic.
To support these exciting new initiatives and to help us continue our mission we are inviting you to become a part of this exciting chapter in Wright-Way’s history. By donating today, you will become a part of our history while making a tremendous impact on our future.
Did you know? Wright-Way Rescue places more dogs in adoptive homes than any other rescue in the State of Illinois on just 10% of the budget. What’s more, our adoption fees do not cover all the costs accrued in the process of rescuing, transporting, treating, and caring for the thousands of dogs and cats we save each year. Take Coco, for example, a spunky lab-mix whose total cost of care for Wright-Way, from his rescue in rural Kentucky to his adoption into a loving home in the Chicago suburbs, was $850. Coco's new family, however, was responsible for only $300. This gap can only be bridged by the support of our generous donors. Can we count on you?
Please give now so we can continue to give animals like Coco a second chance at a loving home and a life they deserve.
Wright-Way Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets euthanized in the Midwest each year through an adoption program, community education, promotion of spaying and neutering, and a veterinary medicine program. We continue to save pets from rural animal control facilities where they are at a high risk of euthanasia, and instead offer them a second chance at a loving home in the Chicagoland area.
