It's that time of year again, training for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, but this year is different. This is the first year I will be running to raise funds for a non-profit organization, and I have chosen to run for La Casa Norte in Chicago. The mission of La Casa Norte is to serve youth and families confronting homelessness. They provide access to stable housing and deliver comprehensive services that act as a catalyst to transform lives and communities. They are making a huge impact in Chicago, and they are a model for like organizations around the country. I recently joined the Board of Directors because this issue is so important to me and La Casa Norte is changing the story for many youths and families in the Chicago area.
I have made a challenge donation of $1,000 in hopes of raising enough from others to match my donation. Your donation will help give so many homeless and at risk Chicagoans a second chance. Any donation is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your generosity and support! Dennis
