The 10th Annual o2breathe Long Island Fun Walk & Family Fun Day for Pulmonary Hypertension will be held on October 11 at Firemens Memorial Park in Lindenhurst, NY. The Walk begins at 11:00 a.m.
This year we are offering free registration for the walk! Please consider creating a Fundraising Team and join us in the fight again PH!
Fun TIPS for you and your team:
- The first 100 people to register and create a Fundraising Team will receive a free awareness wristband and pin.
- Consider creating your own custom T-shirts for your team!
- Bring your own team signs or banners!
- Strollers are welcome!
- Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothing, suitable for the weather.
- Grab lunch and have fun with our very popular basket auctions!
This year, we are dedicating our Walk to the PH Angels and PH Warriors whose journey relies on that cure. We will continue to honor those PH Angels in our memorial ceremony. Your participation helps to bring Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness that provides us with Hope.
Long Island Expressway to Exit 49 South Follow the service road to Pinelawn Road. Make a right and head south on Pinelawn Road. Pinelawn Road becomes Wellwood Ave. Proceed for approximately 8 miles. After you pass over Sunrise Highway, at the second light, make a left onto Newark Street. Make a right into the rear entrance and park.
From Southern State Parkway:
Get off at exit 35 South (Wellwood Avenue) Proceed south. After you pass over Sunrise Highway, at the second light, make a left onto Newark Street. Make a right into the rear entrance and park.
It's very important that you enter at Newark Street as you'll be driving right into the parking lot. Patients that need to have a short walk can be dropped off right next to the building where there's a ramp that leads into the Pavilion.
