MONEY RAISED
IRONMAN Race for Free 2014 Photo

The Story

All money raised through the RACE FOR FREE program will benefit The IRONMAN Foundation, and specifically - the Community Fund Program. This program benefits those in the communities where IRONMAN events are held, by providing charitable support to a variety of local non-profit organizations
that recognize citizens in need and provide support to the local community. Within those communities,

The IRONMAN Foundation will provide grant funding opportunities to non-profit organizations, while also working with community leaders to identify projects that will benefit the community and provide funding to support those initiatives. The IRONMAN Foundation has provided funding opportunities of nearly twenty nine million dollars to numerous non-profit beneficiaries worldwide.

Please note that "Race For Free" is not a reimbursement program. Athletes who are already registered for an event may not switch over to the Race For Free program. This is simply just an additional option for athletes seeking entry into an IRONMAN event.

To sign up for the event through "Race For Free," go to the home page and click on the Black button that reads "Set Up Your Fundraiser." Upon completing registration, you will be required to sign a contract committing yourself to fundraise the $3,000 total for The IRONMAN Foundation.
