Jack was released 12/5/2014(Insurance Company Refusing To Pay For More Re-hab) and is home recovering now after almost 12 weeks in the Hospital and nursing home. Everyone's continued support and prayer are greatly appreciated !!
Jack was able to make our Family Thanksgiving Dinner, first time out of the hospital or nursing home (other than for chemo) in almost 10 weeks. Hoping to be done with rehab in maybe a couple more weeks. However Jack's battle with the cancer will be on going and the medical bill's continue to mount with a new year comes another $ 5,100.00 out of pocket, so please everyone continue to help and pray in anyway possible.
My brother in law Jack , A VETERAN who served this Great Country as a memeber of the U.S. Army 1972-1975, and is the type of man who would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. Was diagnosed with 3B lung cancer four months ago, after two chemotherapy sessions he developed double pneumonia which caused a blood infection nearly killing him. After six weeks in the hospital he was transferred this week to a nursing home for an unknown time for rehabilitation from being bed ridden for so long. Jack has Health Insurance but has a $ 5,100.00 deductible and copay annually, meaning it will again cost them with the new year 2015. His wife Brenda drives 70 miles round trip daily to visit. 100% of any money raised will go directly to this great family to help defray medical and travel expenses. The picture of Jack is from 11/6/2014 sitting up for the first time in 46 days. Any help for this family would be greatly appreciated. May God Bless You and Yours.
