BENEFITING: WOODSTOCK FARM ANIMAL SANCTUARY INC
Meet Fawn. She was born on a dairy farm in Upstate New York. Her mother was confined and chained in a milking stall where she couldn't turn around or lie down. So she was forced to give birth to Fawn standing up. The newborn fell into the concrete manure pit behind the row of cows, where she severely damaged one of her legs.
By the time Fawn came to Woodstock Sanctuary, her condition was so bad that she was walking on her knees. But we knew we needed to help her.
It has now been five months and many, many trips back and forth to the vet hospital, and Fawn is on the road to recovery. Throughout her ordeal, she has remained ridiculously friendly and affectionate to her caregivers, and has touched the hearts of all who have met her.
Fawn's life began in tragedy, but we've given her hope. At Woodstock Sanctuary she is guaranteed a life of freedom and loving care
Now we need help. We have already spent over $15,000 in Fawn's vet bills. This costs were unplanned and we need to raise them to cover the bills.
As a thank you, we'll be giving away fifty 2015 calendars to randomly selected contributors at the $50 plus level. We'll also be giving away a pair of tickets to our annual ThanksLiving celebration.
