In February 2011, Grace Petroff, a 5th grader at Homestead Elementary School, was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. The journey was difficult, but she pushed through the chemotherapy and radiation. Now, five years later Grace is sophomore at Cherry Creek High School and is cancer free!
Since the first event in 2013, Grace’s Race has raised over $142,000 to further pediatric cancer research and save the lives of other children battling brain tumors.
This year Grace’s Race is set for May 22, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at Homestead's Open Space/Willow Spring Open Space. Please register now, and join Grace and The Morgan Adams Foundation in raising money to support a cure for other kids like Grace.
