BENEFITING: PAJAMA PROGRAM
Pajama Program is a New York based, National organization that helps create a warm and nurturing environment for children in need by providing new pajamas and new books. For most children, bedtime is a time of comfort, love and security. A time when children crave intimacy with their moms and dads, a few minutes of bonding, and sharing a safe, secure environment. Unfortunately, for the millions of kids in need in America, a good night is not a luxury they experience. Many of children Pajama Program works with are waiting and hoping to be adopted. Most of these children have never enjoyed the simple comfort of having a mother or father tuck them in at bedtime with warm, clean pajamas and a bedtime story.
In honor of December 2nd, which is Giving Tuesday - the national day of charitable giving, we have launched the "One Thousand Smiles by the Holidays" initiative to provide 1,000 more children with a new book and a new pair of pajamas by the holidays. This is a smaller campaign to help us reach our primary goal of "One Million Good Nights," which will provide one million children with a new pair of pajamas and a new book by the end of 2015!
$10,000 helps to provide 1,000 children with a book and a pair of pajamas.
We can only do this with your help and generosity.
Please donate today and help us work together to provide 1,000 underserved children with a new book, a pair of pajamas, and a smile for the holidays.
