On April 25, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal, devastating much of Kathmandu and rural areas outside it. The UN estimates that nearly 8 million people have been affected. Our team on the ground survived and immediately began pitching in with relief and recovery efforts. Please help us rise to meet this massive challenge.
100% of support raised will go to those impacted by the earthquake in Nepal. Funds will be dispersed in accordance with need by an oversight team of local Nepali Little Sisters Fund Administrators and School Coordinators. The Little Sisters Fund network in Nepal covers 19 districts, including the majority of those most affected by the quake. This support will be very directed at where it is needed most. No admin costs here. Just pure heart-help.
Updated April 28: Please indicate in the notes section (or by emailing us at email@example.com) if you would like your donation to target general need or those in the Little Sisters Fund family.
Donations targeting general need will be dispersed by the LSF team as they visit camps, speak with hospital administrators, and leverage our existing network to identify areas of need for immediate relief.
Donations targeting the LSF family will support girls, their families, and partner schools who have been impacted by the disaster. Our hope is that such funds will go beyond immediate relief (food, water, etc) to help with the rebuilding and recovery process that will likely last months.
