BENEFITING: DELIVER HOPE
Where and when is an at-risk teen most vulnerable?
In that danger zone between being freed from jail and their next decision.
What if we could shorten that distance and help those emerging from juvenile detention start on a path of wise choices, their first steps toward a confident, productive, safe, meaningful future?
That’s long been a goal of Deliver Hope and is NOW about to become a reality. Mere steps away from the jail that holds youth captive for their crimes is a resource center that can serve as their connecting point to keep them from drifting back into destructive habits and misguided decisions.
The Deliver Hope Central Office/Resource Center will house offices for the Deliver Hope administration and services teams, but will also include these key connecting points for high-risk youth:
- A media room for tutoring, GED preparation and testing, ACT studies, and other proactive education advancement
- A multi-purpose room for positive conversations and interactive activities between youth and volunteers, as well as Deliver Hope meetings
- A room designed for mentoring appointments to help at-risk youth and their mentors dream about and craft a positive future.
Deliver Hope is looking for six or more businesses/individuals/churches to contribute $1000 each to “adopt” one of these rooms. The donations will furnish and equip the Central Office/Resource Center so Deliver Hope can open its doors and begin connecting the youth with the tools, life-skills, mentoring, decision-making skills, and education they need to EMBRACE HOPE again.
Within moments of their release, they’ll be welcomed into the Deliver Hope environment to start a journey they didn’t know could be theirs.
In exchange for your tax-deductible contribution, your business logo will be included on signage outside of the Central Office and on signage at the door of the room you adopt. The logo shows you care.
They—those kids—have a name. Deliver Hope can help give them a future. To contribute, or to learn more about Deliver Hope, contact Daniel Tyler at email@example.com or you can go online to www.deliver-hope.org.
