BENEFITING: CONCERN FOUNDATION
ORGANIZER: CONCERN FOUNDATION
EVENT DATE: Nov 03, 2013
I am truly honored to be running for such a fantastic organization.
On Christmas Eve last year, my father (dressed as Santa Claus) and myself (dressed as his Elf), spent the entire day at Children's Hospital passing out toys to patients who were unable to go home for the Holidays. The best way to describe the experience is life changing and completely unforgettable. To see the joy on these kids faces when Santa made the special visit was priceless. Unfortunately, some of the patients are no longer with us today.
All of us at some point in our lives have known someone who has been affected and/or is no longer with us because of cancer. Had it not been for research, my grandfather, who was diagnosed with cancer, may not be here today.
It's because of the kids I met at Children's Hospital and my grandfather as to why I am raising funds for Cancer Research and running the New York Marathon. Please join me with a donation of any size so that together we can support research and conquer cancer. Thank you!
