What if you didn't have water readily available for your use? What if the water you drank was dirty and contaminated with germs? Ew, right? Well, over 884 million people lack access to clean water and waterborne diseases have killed more people than any war has claimed through guns! Woah!
Community Water Solutions is a not-for-profit organization that is helping solve the global water crisis in a sustainable way. Their effective, low-cost water treatments have brought clean water to over 28,000 people and have launched 49 water businesses in Ghana, West Africa! How awesome is that?!
Another aspect about CWS that truly inspires me, are the 98 Ghanaian women who have been empowered through these water businesses. CWS is dedicated to make sure the water treatments are maintainable for life. CWS trains the women in the villages how to continue successful production of clean water and how to properly manage a small, for-profit business model to sell the clean water to others in the community.
I am so passionate about this organization! I was accepted as a 2013 Summer Fellow for this summer's water projects! So here I am, fundraising for this incredible cause! All the money I raise will go to the water business supplies I will personally be implementing in my assigned village and my in-country expenses.
My goal is to raise $3000, but I am praying I can exceed my goal! I have faith that I will see so much support from all of you out there and I thank you in advance!

Thanks to all of you!
