Help end homelessness with Paddington in Waterbury and Litchfield County Photo

The Story

Do you want to make a difference for a family in our community? For many families, a little bit of emergency assistance for rent, utilities, transportation, or a car repair can make all the difference in a time of crisis.

The Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness has partnered with the beloved Paddington Bear to raise awareness about family homelessness and give you tools to make a difference. Paddington is looking for 1000 families in Connecticut to join him in holding "marmalade drives" (in honor of his favorite food). $1,000 is the average amount required to prevent a family from becoming homeless, so for every $1K you raise, you will help a family with young children stay in the comfort of home.

Please help a family in need by donating or starting a drive today. Your gift can make all the difference!
