EVENT DATE: Feb 22, 2019
For the better part of a decade, chances are if you saw something cool on Arizona television, Ali Dugaw had something to do with it. The emmy-award winning producer is a veteran of both PBS in Tucson and ABC15 Phoenix, today she is a segment producer for 3TV’s Good Morning Arizona. On any given day, she is showcasing the hottest events, championing local businesses and shining a light on Valley causes that matter.
Her adventurous spirit led her away from broadcasting for a few years, backpacking through Central America and Southeast Asia and spending some time working in the event and culinary world. But she knew she’d eventually find her way back to TV.
Now her focus is on telling people’s stories - including her own - through the lens of social media. She juggles a personal Instagram account (@producerali), a behind-the-scenes look at Good Morning Arizona (@gmazproducer) and a recently launched foodie account and blog dedicated to gluten-free finds called Gluten Free Travel Girl (www.glutenfreetravelgirl.com) (@glutenfreetravelgirl). She hopes to inspire and offer hope to others like herself, who end up with a diagnosis that forces them to be on a restricted diet.
When she's not traveling or checking out the new spots in town, you can find Dugaw volunteering with one of several nonprofits or playing at the park with her pup. And, of course, she’s always looking for her next story to tell.
