BENEFITING: RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE OF NEW YORK
EVENT DATE: Nov 05, 2017
On November 5th, I am running in the TCS New York City Marathon!
I’ll be running with about twenty other men and women to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of New York (a
501©3 non-profit organization).
The Ronald McDonald House of New York will provide the resources and opportunity for children with a life-threatening disease to come to Manhattan to get the best treatment possible. The House is a supportive, caring place where families can stay together, and heal together. Located on East 73rd street, and in close proximity to 13 major pediatric cancer treatment centers, Ronald McDonald House welcomes children and families from all over the world. Founded in 1978, since then more than 35,000 families have called RMH NY their “home away from home.” Every child deserves every opportunity and with your support the donations I raise will benefit the Ronald McDonald House. I am blessed with good health and know that giving back to those less fortunate is my both my duty and responsibility. During my 2-hour+ training runs I tend to have a lot of time to think. Sometimes I wonder if my 25-year old knees will hold up on race day but now that training has kicked into high gear I can’t stop thinking about the hope and joy that this organization brings to both the parents and children it serves and I couldn’t be happier to support the Ronald McDonald House.
The opportunity for each child to succeed begins with you!
