The Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter is dedicated to providing shelter and food to those in need. The overall objective of the agency is to advocate, create and operate programs and services that promote dignity and self-sufficiency for those we serve. To ensure that basic needs are addressed, the NSK&S is committed to joining with others in a community-wide ethic of caring.
Our current facility is located in an old three-story apartment in a residential neighborhood. It was never intended to house a social service agency and therefore is poorly configured, too small and badly in need of repair. The condition and design of the building limits our capacity to serve people in need and presents untold issues for those who work and volunteer there.
We serve over 80,000 meals each year. The folks that come to the Soup Kitchen to eat depend on us and WE NEED TO BE THERE!
We are closing in on a new location and NEED YOUR HELP to outfit and equip a new state-of-the-art kitchen and food pantry.
