3E Now delivers programs that educate and empower young men and women to eliminate intimate partner violence and gender inequality. 3E Now stands for educating, empowering, and eliminating dating violence.
Since 2010, 3E Now has confronted the public health crisis of intimate partner violence through educational programming that challenges and inspires youth to be leaders in their schools, sports teams, and communities.
Today, 3E Now has engaged more than 1000 local youth with comprehensive, multi-week programming and 25 parent groups. 3E Now has delivered more than 100 presentations at schools and community-based organizations, and brought multiple nationally acclaimed violence prevention curricula to the Pittsburgh region.
3E Now has seen significant growth under the leadership of a volunteer executive director and a lean staff consisting of a Pulse fellow, interns, and volunteers. We are now at a point where the demand for our core programs far exceeds our capacity. 3E Now will use a portion of the requested funds to hire a part-time executive director who will be responsible for expanding our programmatic footprint, developing new partnerships, and generating greater organizational visibility and sustainability.
