Hey everyone! This is my first year doing 3 Summits for Nepal! I'm excited to go climbing and help out the children across the world. 3 summits for Nepal raise money to build schools, help educate and teach the children as well as the teachers.
Last year in 2013 they raised over 43,000 dollars! That money has gone to building new schools over in the Khumbu valley. I am climbing Mt. Rainier this year via the Kautz Route in July with a part of the group. This has been my dream for the past couple years to climb Rainier and helping people out with my tribulations on the mountains is great!
My goal is 1,000 dollars for this year. Indeed it is a lot of money but it goes to a great contribution as well as feeling good in helping kids out. If I get over 3,500 dollars I can then go on a trip to the south side of Everest and explore the base camp and help out the students back there.
You can check out "3 Summits for Nepal" online and on Facebook. Remember if you do not give back no one wil like you;) Thank you for your contributions!

Our team of volunteer climbers is working hard to meet their fundraising goals for this year's climb. Crooked Trails is acting as the fiscal sponsor - all funds will go to support children's education in Nepal.
Thanks for the support!
