Thank you for your interest in the Transverse Myelitis Association Walk-Run-N-Roll awareness event in Massachusetts. Our event will take place on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Endicott Park (57 Forest Street, Danvers, MA) from 9:15 am to noon.
As parents, patients, caregivers, and family members of those diagnosed with Acute Flaccid Myelitis (AFM) and other rare neuro-immune disorders, we are committed to raising awareness and funds to support the research mission of the Transverse Myelitis Association (TMA).
Our goal this year is to raise $30,000 to support novel research. Currently, there is no cure for those with rare neuro-immune disorders. We ask for your help and support to achieve our goal!
The TMA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the support of children and adults with a spectrum of rare neuro-immune disorders including: Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM), Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD), Optic Neuritis (ON), Transverse Myelitis (TM), and Acute Flaccid Myelitis (AFM). The TMA was founded in 1994 by patients and families living with these diagnoses. The TMA supports individuals with rare neuro-immune disorders and their families to promote awareness and empower patients, families, clinicians and scientists to build a collaborative and dedicated clinical care network and help advance scientific understanding and research.
Our event will promote awareness within the community and raise money for research. We ask for your thoughtful consideration in sponsoring our event to further advance the research that is being done to find new treatments and a cure. Your participation will be recognized at one of our six sponsorship levels: Platinum ($3,000), Gold ($1,500), Silver ($1,000), Bronze ($500), Friend ($250) or Community ($100).
The funds raised from this event will accelerate research to help patients and their families who are living with life-altering effects from these disorders.
On behalf of the Massachusetts Walk-Run-N-Roll committee, the TMA, and our families, we want to thank you for your support! We are grateful for your consideration; we can’t achieve our goal without your help.
