Angel Foundation is a Minnesota-based nonprofit that provides help when cancer strikes. Angel Foundation provides emergency financial assistance, education and support to local adults with cancer and their families through its two programs: Emergency Financial Assistance and Facing Cancer Together. Emergency Financial Assistance provides funds to local adults in active treatment for cancer for their basic, non-medical living expenses, such as groceries, gas, utilities, and housing. Facing Cancer Together recognizes that the whole family is affected by a parental cancer diagnosis and offers a variety of age appropriate and hands-on education and support programs, including consults, caregiver groups, medical play groups, twice annual Camp Angel and more. Since its founding in 2001, Angel Foundation has provided over $7 million in emergency financial assistance and more than 25,000 services to local individuals. Learn more about Angel Foundation here, or by watching this short video.
Since the first Hope in Motion was held in 2014, over $100,000 has been raised for Angel Foundation, which has provided tremendous support to our local cancer community. Thank you for joining us by creating a fundraising page. Your help really does make a difference when cancer strikes!
