Make a Difference in Ovarian and Breast Cancer outcomes by DONATING TODAY to help educate young women.
You can make a difference in Ovarian and Breast Cancer outcomes by donating money today to help educate young women about these diseases. On October 9th 2016, I will join many runners competing in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon to raise over $200,000 for charity partner Bright Pink. Bright Pink is the only national non-profit organization focused on prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women and $200,000 has the power to educate and potentially save the lives of 50,000 young women.
Having lost my mother to ovarian cancer suddenly in 2008, I want to do something to make a difference in this disease by helping raise money for Bright Pink. Many of you have family and friends whose lives are impacted by Breast Cancer and Ovarian Cancer and many of you are sadly likely to have to deal with more of this in the future. Working together to raise money, we can help change the lives of those with these diseases today and we can impact the outcomes of those diagnosed in the future.
The last time I ran the Chicago Marathon was in 2004, several years before my mother's death. I'm looking forward to running it again this year and I'm certain to be inspired by both Bright Pink's mission and by your generous supporting donations.
Thank you for considering this cause. Any amount can help make a difference.
