BENEFITING: American Jewish World Service
EVENT DATE: May 01, 2016
On Sunday, May 1st, AJWS’s 5 Boro Bike Tour Team will embark on a cycling journey alongside AJWS President Ruth Messinger to raise more than $15,000 to help end poverty and advance human rights in the developing world. We hope you’ll cheer on Team AJWS as they take on all five boroughs and race to the finish line to build a more just and equitable world!
Inspired by the Jewish commitment to justice, American Jewish World Service (AJWS) works to realize human rights and end poverty in the developing world. AJWS advances the rights of women, girls and LGBTI people; promotes recovery from conflict, disasters and oppression; and defends access to food, land and livelihoods. AJWS pursues lasting change by supporting grassroots and global human rights organizations in Africa, Asia and the Americas and by mobilizing supporters in the U.S. to advocate for global justice. Working together, the AJWS community strives to build a more just and equitable world.
By supporting our team's efforts, you help AJWS secure basic human rights that are the roots of poverty and injustice in the developing world.
