March of Dimes is inspired by all babies—those born healthy and those that need our help to survive and thrive. For more than 77 years, we have worked at improving the health of babies by preventing premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality. Our promise is that we will continue to give babies the best chance at a healthy life.
We carry out our mission in Arizona through:
Community programs that help moms to be in Arizona have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies.
Advocacy for programs that help moms in Arizona get care and services to improve their health and the health of their babies.
Research the serious problems that threaten our babies and work on treatments and preventions.
Education through our websites, which have the latest pregnancy health information in English and Spanish.
Support through our online community and hospitals in Arizona, we offer information and comfort to families with a newborn in intensive care.
FUND THE MISSION
Fund the Mission Chair: Carol Wight, AV Dimensions
Fund the Mission is an opportunity to give a 100% tax-deducible gift in support of our efforts to give all Arizona babies the healthiest start in life. While we welcome Fund the Mission gifts throughout the year, the campaign is an integral part of our annual Signature Chefs Auction. At this November event, a mission family shares their story and invites guests to give in support of March of Dimes. We are dedicated to healthy pregnancies… and stronger, healthier babies.
We kindly request a donation in support of our efforts to help premature and sick babies. Your donation could help fund these critical programs:
$10,000 a year-long local services grant
$5,000 a month of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Family Support Program
$1,000 a month of advocacy
$500 continuing education for area health providers
$100 a year’s supply of prenatal health brochures
Your help is key to furthering our mission.
